Sep 3, 2021 | Building, Construction, Developer, House, Premier Countertop Installation and Fabrication

Choosing a countertop may be one of the most challenging decisions you may have to make throughout a remodel or new build. At Bad Lizard Granite & Quartz, we know that selecting a countertop can be complicated and confusing. Not only is it an investment, but a countertop also helps express the style and feel of your home. Therefore, we believe it is crucial to put in the extra time to find a perfect countertop fabricator that will match your needs and wants.

Here at Bad Lizard, we provide our customers with a large selection of stone slabs. And we are happy to say that we have the largest indoor selection of natural stone slabs in the state of West Virginia! Due to our extensive selection, we are confident that we have options for each customer. Additionally, our indoor showroom protects our slabs from UV rays, so there is no need to worry about them receiving too much sun exposure.

When you come to visit us, you and your Bad Lizard consultant will be allowed to navigate our facility safely. Viewing the slabs in person is an excellent opportunity to learn more about what you love. It is always better to view slabs in person because you can grasp the color and pattern throughout the slab, which is sometimes difficult to determine when considering small samples. To learn more about our extensive slab options, read our blog, Choose Your Countertop Onsite From our Large, Indoor Countertop Slab Selection.

At Bad Lizard, we also offer a remnants section. Remnants are smaller pieces of leftover slabs that aren’t large enough to create full-size kitchen projects. Remnants can be used for smaller projects such as:

  • Bathroom countertops
  • Mantles
  • Outdoor kitchens
  • Window sill
  • Tabletops
  • Hearths

Remnants are competitively priced. Sometimes, our special remnant pricing includes extras such as sinks and backsplash/side splash pieces with no extra charge. This is an affordable way to use granite, quartz or marble somewhere else besides the kitchen. Our remnants are also very durable compared to laminate or pre-fabricated stone tops. To learn more about remnants, check out our blog, Remnants 101.

Our team at Bad Lizard comprises highly skilled craftsmen, and our CNC equipment is American-designed and state-of-the-art. As a result, we ensure that your custom countertops are handled with the utmost care and precision. Before we cut your countertops, our team takes custom measurements, so you won’t have to worry about basic template sizing, especially if you require a specific size that may not fit a template.

Additionally, we are happy to say that we can work with contractors, which means we can install countertops while the rest of your kitchen or home is being built or remodeled.

Furthermore, we are now offering Venetian Marble shower/bath installs! Our Venetian Marble panel installs are not only beautiful and elegant, but they are also super easy to clean — no more worries about scrubbing each grout line or getting in between tile corners. With the Venetian Marble, all it takes is a simple squeegee pass through, and you’re done! If you’re interested in learning more about our Venetian Marble, check out our blog, Elevate Your Bathroom with Bad Lizard Granite & Quartz.

We also offer and install workstation sinks. Also known as ledge sinks, workstation sinks include custom accessories that slide back and forth and allow you to smoothly transition from washing and chopping to clean-up without all of the clutter and mess. Workstation sink accessories commonly include cutting boards, colanders, drying racks, roll-up drying racks, bottom grids and drains. Best of all, these custom accessories do not take up additional countertop space.
