Remnants
DIYer? We’ve got you covered.
Whether you’re building a new home or updating an older space, remnants let you bring the luxury of stone to more places, for prices closer to laminate or prefab tops. Plus, many of our remnant specials include extras like sinks and backsplash pieces at no additional cost.
What are Remnants?
When we purchase natural stone, we get it in bundles: 6 to 8 slabs cut consecutively from the same block. This ensures consistency across large projects, like kitchens that require multiple slabs. But once those big projects wrap up, we’re often left with smaller pieces from that bundle—stone that’s too beautiful to waste, but not big enough for a full kitchen. These pieces are called remnants.
At Bad Lizard, we keep a wide selection of remnants in our indoor showroom—perfect for smaller projects like bathroom vanities, hearths, mantles, window sills, table tops, and more. And unlike box stores with minimum size requirements, our remnant pricing is competitive and flexible—making it easier to upgrade your home without breaking the budget.
We’ll custom-fabricate your piece, and you just swing by to pick it up when it’s ready.
