Johnnie H. Rominger: Co-Owner and Shop Foreman

Years Worked at Bad Lizard: I helped start Bad Lizard and have worked here for seven years.

Years of Industry Experience: I have worked for 20+ years in construction.

About Me: I’m married to Dr. Jaclyn E Rominger (locally known as Dr. J), and we have two miniature dachshunds, Luke Duke and Bo Duke.  I love shotgun sports like sporting clays, five stand, and fitasc.  I love spending time with my wife on a getaway vacation or even a simple night out for dinner.  Together, the four of us love spending time on our boat on Cheat Lake.

Favorite Thing About My Job:  I have three favorite things about my job.  First, I love that we get to be a small part of making someone’s dream home or dream remodel happen!  We get to put the final touches on the project, and we get to see the customer’s expression when they realize that all the time and hard work has finally paid off.  Secondly, I love coming to work every day because of the fantastic crew that Trevor and I have assembled here.  You’re only as good as the team behind you, and we have a great team!  We have a great group of craftsmen, and we all deliver a rock-solid product (pun intended)!  Thirdly, I love how the communities we serve have accepted us.  Our success has allowed us to give back to those communities through youth sports sponsorships, individual nonprofit donations and giving to larger organizations like the United Way.  Continuing to have the ability to be able to give back to those that provide to you makes it so easy to come to work every morning!
